When it comes to find a good steak restaurant in Paris , you’ll be hearing many addresses, most of them being Argentinian. We had a chance to taste quite a few and our most dependable address and favorite among all these restaurants has always been Anahi.
Other than Berlin, Paris is one of the cities in Europe that you can find ‘careless looking’ atmosphere that has been put together with utmost attention to detail.
It seems like a cross between a butcher shop (what it used to be), a restaurant and a bathroom. Old bathroom tiles, oxidized mirrors surround pristine white tables with cloth napkins.
There is also a secondary section inside but our preference has always been the front section with large window bays.
As starters we took a guacomole. Taste-wise was pretty good but I’m much more fond of ‘chunky’ version of it.
All is pretty simple and straight forward. You ask for your cut and it’s accompanied by some salad, corn or some other side of your choice.
When it comes to our preference we almost always go for the baby beef. It just melts in your mouth and is pretty good portion. Price-wise it’s a little on the expensive side though.
Oven baked mash potato was pretty good but you might want to go for a ‘lighter’ side with so much red meat on your plate.
